Where It All Began
Here’s a little of our story
Brighton Dental Suite started with a simple idea from husband-and-wife team, Dr. Ken and Dr. Mei. After 20 years of practicing dentistry across Brisbane and regional Queensland, they wanted to create a place where dentistry felt different – where they could:
- Actually get to know their patients as people.
- Take time to explain what’s happening and why.
- Focus on doing great work without rushing.
Dr. Mei and Dr. Ken connected with Dr. Anthony Spink, who was looking for the right people to care for his patients after a cycling accident ended his practice. He was known for genuinely caring about his community and taking time with each person who walked through his doors.
📢 In 2025, Brighton Dental Suite became part of Beyond Dental Care. The name on the door changed, but what matters most stayed the same – we still believe in taking time with our patients and helping you understand your oral health.
Dr. Mei and Dr. Ken have moved on to new adventures, but the practice they built lives on. The team here continues to approach dentistry the way they did – with patience, honesty, and genuine care for the people we serve in Brighton.
